National Science Foundation Supported Industry-University Collaboration to Advance 3D Printing
The Science of Heterogeneous Additive Printing of 3D Materials, or SHAP3D Center, brings the advanced research capabilities of preeminent universities together to develop fundamental knowledge for additive manufacturing, or commonly referred to as 3D printing, and combining diverse materials into 3D printed structures. We serve the wide interests of industry, government and academia by addressing pre-competitive research challenges to meet the commercial additive manufacturing needs of industry.
